FREE PARKING HAS RETURNED ON SATURDAYS IN YOUR DOWNTOWN.

 

Your customers will be happy to know that they can park on the downtown streets and in the City Lots for Free on Saturday and Sunday from now on.

 

During the week customers can use the three 2 HOUR FREE Lots situated on Oak Street East and West and on McIntyre Street West (Parking Garage).

 

Lot #3 on McIntyre Street East (behind the Capitol Centre) has been returned to a pay and display lot.  This lot was an unstaffed location which was not properly serving those it was intended for.  The changes of Lot #3 were proposed by the city and consent for changes were given at the DIA Board Meeting in December 2007.

 

The City had allowed Saturday Free on street parking for the month of December 2007 and continued it permanently in 2008.

 

A letter is being circulated by the parking authority to inform us on these changes.
